BY CURTIS WOODWARD
Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles
Coach: Trent Barrett
Pre-season: Auckland Nines February 4th and 5th, v South Sydney February 11th, v Roosters February 18th
What they’ll get right: Jake and Tom Trbojevic are going to be the heart and soul of Brookvale for the next ten years. As long as they have some willing teammates ready to have a go, they may shock a few people. Blake Green will become as important to the Sea Eagles as Daly Cherry-Evans who has proven he can’t do it without a quality partner in the halves.
What they’ll get wrong: There’s too many unknown variables at play. Brett Stewart and Steve Matai are M.I.A, DCE has lost all confidence, they lack a class hooker while questions must be asked about some of their big names including veteran Nate Myles.
It’s a big year for: Forget Cherry-Evans. Coach Trent Barrett must be under the pump. It’s his job to get this team performing as a unit. Early losses and there will be no coming back for ‘Baz’.

Most improved: Tom Trbojevic
MVP: Tom Trbojevic
Most consistent: Jake Trbojevic
Prediction – 14th
Too many questions to give this squad the benefit of the doubt.
