As the years tick by and the NRL seasons fly passed, more and more players are checking out the grass on the other side.

MATT GEYER – WESTERN REDS

We all know big brother Mark headed west but did you know young Matt made his first grade debut with the Reds in 1997?

 
CRAIG INNES – WESTERN REDS
10 GAMES
Another old Red is former All Black Craig Innes who played for the Reds in 1995 before winning a premiership with Manly the following season.

KEVIN CAMPION – ADELAIDE RAMS
14 GAMES
A hardnosed journeyman who would go on to play in three grand finals at the Broncos and the Warriors.

 
RICHARD SWAIN – HUNTER MARINERS
13 GAMES
Swain made his name as a Melbourne legend winning the 1999 NRL premiership but not before churning out 13 games for the Mariners.

 
LUKE WILLIAMSON – ADELAIDE RAMS
29 GAMES
A mainstay of Manly outfits between 2003 and 2008, Williamson played 29 games for the Rams in two seasons.

MICHAEL MAGUIRE – ADELAIDE RAMS
5 GAMES
No doubt a better coach than player, Maguire scored one try in five games for Adelaide in 1997.

 
LUKE GOODWIN – WESTERN REDS
3 GAMES
The son of Ted, the older brother of Bryson and Bronx could only manage three appearances for the Western Reds.

 
AARON MOULE – SOUTH QLD CRUSHERS
9 GAMES
Moule would eventually play 104 games for Melbourne and win a title but prior to that he played nine games for the Crushers in 1997.

DAVID KIDWELL – ADELAIDE RAMS

An international with the Kiwis, Kidwell began his career in Adelaide playing for the red and blue of the Rams in 1997 and 1998.
