The Bulldogs need to stand up and be accounted for. That’s according to their skipper James Graham who says it’s time Canterbury got serious about 2015.
“This is the time for me and this is the time for us as a club and organisation to really stand up,” Graham told The Daily Telegraph.
“There are going to be times that are difficult when you are playing sport as captain or a squad member.
“It’s important, more than ever, that you do the right things now when maybe things aren’t going so great. That’s when, I believe, the real leaders come to the front.
“There is obviously a little bit of extra responsibility now (as captain) and probably more pressure.
“Probably a little more pressure than I thought there would be. I didn’t think there would be as much responsibility as there is.
“But it’s OK, I am happy with the responsibility. Des (Hasler) and the board, chairman, CEO, they saw something in me.”
