Farah: Performance Speaks Louder Than Words

You could cut the tension with a knife yesterday afternoon after the Wests Tigers thumped the Warriors at Campbelltown Stadium.

Captain Robbie Farah, who received two votes in our Ultimatesportsmemorabilia.com.au Player of the Year competition, spoke about the win and the controversial week with coach Jason Taylor beside him at the post-match press conference.

“It’s been a crazy week,” Farah said.

“My focus was on this game, I tried to block it out from day one. I spoke on Wednesday morning and I wanted to speak to put it behind us and move on.

“I came into training every day to train as hard as I could and prepare the best way I could to show the boys I wasn’t going to let it affect me or the team.

“The performance today speaks louder than words.”

Robbie Farah received the loudest cheer before kick-off with Taylor booed.

Things got even more interesting throughout the game with a huge “Robbie..Robbie..Robbie” chant.
