Canterbury-Bankstown’s 2015 campaign has been hit with the news that star hooker Michael Lichaa has probably played his last game of the season after injuring himself against Gold Coast on Sunday.
Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs hooker Michael Lichaa is likely to miss the remainder of the season after scans today revealed further damage to his right leg and ankle than first thought” the Bulldogs said in a statement.
Scans revealed a fracture, and with surgery now required, Lichaa will not be able to recover in time before season’s end.
Lichaa came from the field in just the fourth minute of play when his right leg got caught underneath a Greg Bird tackle, with the 22-year-old taking no further part in the match.
