Ben Ikin believes while the defending premiers South Sydney are definitely a diferent team to 2014, they have the weapons to defend their crown.
“John Sutton and Glenn Stewart, while both high quality, definitely weren’t battering rams like their predecessors” Ikin wrote for foxsports.com.au.
“Not to mention that Arizonagate would lead to the sacking of a captain and the torch being handed to a rookie skipper.
“But as all good organisations and teams do, the Rabbitohs worked themselves into a lather to recalibrate, redesign and ultimately re-emerge.
“Now with five rounds left in the competition proper South Sydney have found a new rhythm, and while the instruments are a little different from last year, the tune still sounds very good.”
