Sliding Doors for Toovey and Stone

Manly-Warringah will finally announce this week that Geoff Toovey will be moved on as coach for 2016 despite having a year to run on his contract.

The announcement could have been made today or even yesterday but there is still a dispute over monies owed to Toovey.

Barrett will bring a brand new coaching staff with him and the roster cleanout has already begun.

Meanwhile, Newcastle legend Danny Buderus will take the head coaching role for the rest of the season after Rick Stone’s dismissal yesterday.

Reports suggest Nathan Brown is in line for the top job but we keep hearing that Brett Kimmorley and Garth Brennan will both be approached to interview for the job.
