Former Storm CEO Mark Evans says Cameron Smith and Alex McKinnon will soon come to a resolution ahead of Smith’s 300th NRL game on Friday night.

“I think it’s a shame it’s had such an airing but I’m sure it will be resolved,” Evans told Fairfax.

“They are two very decent young people.

“I don’t know Alex but the way he has handled himself has been terrific.

“I know Cameron better obviously and he’s had a lot of pressure situations in his career and handled them all impeccably.

“I’m sure there will be a resolution at some stage.”
