Queensland coach Mal Meninga has gone with the more attacking of two great options in replacing injured fullback Billy Slater.

Greg Inglis shifts from the centres to fullback with Will Chambers moving into Inglis’ centre allowing Dane Gagai his debut. This also means Darius Boyd stays on the wing despite calls for the classy custodian to make the move instead of Inglis.

Michael Morgan has beaten Daly Cherry-Evans to the bench utility spot while Dylan Napa will have to wait another year with Josh Papalii assuming Josh McGuire’s bench spot.
