Kimmorley Praises King Henry

Brett Kimmorley had his fair share of coaches throughout his career so he knows when he sees a good one.

The former Australian pivot has heaped praise on Gold Coast mentor Neil Henry whose team impressively downed Canterbury on Sunday 28-14.

“The Titans aren’t getting the credit they deserve and this was just the latest example that they’re a football side with some big potential” Kimmorley wrote for Fox Sports.

“I think Neil Henry’s done a great job with this side. If you look at where they’ve been this year, the Gold Coast — pre-season dramas, drug investigation, star players stood down, changing training venues, the star halfback reneges on a deal to join the club, Nate Myles and Aidan Sezer leaving — they’re in a situation where they have every right to turn up and say we can’t play football this year.

“They haven’t. They’ve done a great job.

“They don’t do anything flash but they seem to do everything together. They know what each other is going to do and that points to a very well coached side.”
