Konrad Hurrell is the most damaging centre in the NRL on his day but his days have been few and far between recently and returns this weekend from suspension to face the Sydney Roosters.
It’s a timely boost for the New Zealand Warriors who were flogged by South Sydney last weekend.
“This is the best shape I’ve ever been in in my career so I’m really looking forward to it and hopefully it will work well for me,” said Hurrell.
“It’s just been good for myself to get fit and fast.
“I’ve been doing some training at Boxing Alley with Monty Betham, on the weekends, and doing some more training with Ruben [Wiki] and the team.
“I’m ready to go.”
Their opponents will be without ace centre Michael Jennings but welcome back Blake Ferguson.
