Embattled Canterbury half Trent Hodkinson says he’s back to form after a starring role in the Bulldogs’ 20-4 win over Melbourne.
Hodkinson is still to find a home in 2016 and is a battle with Moses Mbye and Josh Reynolds for starting roles at the Belmore club.
“It just hasn’t been going my way early in the season so I never panicked,” Hodkinson said.
“I knew I could come out tonight and play a good game leading into Origin.
“It’s going to help the confidence.”
Hodkinson wants his new contract to be finalised as quickly as possible.
“I’ve got a few options so I’ve just got to make the right decision and these things take time.
“I wouldn’t mind getting it sorted ASAP. We’ll see what happens.”
