The prickly behaviour of Wests Tigers and Origin I New South Wales skipper Robbie Farah has reared its ugly head again.

A day after Dean Ritchie penned a piece on the fiery hooker for Sportal, Triple M’s Supergrass has revealed that Farah confronted Blues icon and coach Laurie Daley via phone late last year when Daley didn’t include Farah in his Celebrity Supercoach Team of the Year.

According to Triple M’s gossip king, Daley did not want Farah as captain of the Blues for Origin I and preferred Greg Bird and Josh Dugan ahead of the dummy half.

Daley had to be coaxed into selecting Farah.

The fact Farah reportedly blasted the Origin mentor because he didn’t pick him in a fantasy team gives some kind of insight into a man that has had heated and very public exchanges with a number of rugby league identities.
