The Dragons may have lost on Monday night to South Sydney, but Josh Dugan was easily the best from either side.
Dugan received three points in The81stMinute’s Player of Year and also took out Triple M’s award.
“I thought he was outstanding,” Dragons captain Ben Creagh said.
“I really hope he gets a Blues Jersey because he deserves it.” While Dugan’s club coach Paul McGregor said it was an easy choice.
“I’m not a selector or the coach but he’s been in that environment before,” McGregor said.
“He’s come away with man of the match in that arena so it’s a no-brainer for me.”
