St George Illawarra captain Ben Creagh says his Dragons deserve some respect and that starts with Tyson Frizell and Joel Thompson being named in the New South Wales team to take on Queensland Wednesday week.

“[Frizell] is definitely ready. Same as Joel Thompson,” Creagh said after the Saints dismantled Canberra on Sundya.

“If you want to talk about players who are tough and uncompromising, committed guys, they train extremely hard.

“Those two guys are ready for Origin.

“With the amount of work they put in, I really do hope they get an opportunity.

“They will make the most of it. They won’t let anyone down.”
