The Brisbane Broncos are roughing it big time as their preparations for their clash with Canberra on Saturday go from bad to worse.

Wayne Bennett’s men were set to arrive in Canberra at 4pm local time only for their QF1427 flight to be cancelled. They’ve been forced to take a bus from Sydney airport, a 300 kilometre mission.

It’s also expected that Justin Hodges and Sam Thaiday won’t be taking their places in the team after Wednesday’s State of Origin.

And to add insult to injury, it’s expected to be as low as 9 degrees by kick-off and 7 degrees by full-time.
