Jack Bird has only played a couple of NRL games but his rise continues and is set to be receive his first grade representative jumper.
The Cronulla playmaker is in line for Country selection and a trip to Wagga Wagga.
“Trent [Barrett] has a big wrap on him,” CRL boss Terry Quinn told The Daily Telegraph.
“He was already on Trent’s list after the way he played against the Roosters a couple of weeks ago and only re-enforced his potential by backing it up against the Knights.
“Everyone you talk to has been impressed with him and it’s fair to say, we are probably struggling a little bit for form halves at the moment so he is right in the mix.”
