New South Wales don’t have a young star ready to take the captaincy when Paul Gallen retires according to the man himself.
Succession plans are all the buzz at the moment but Gallen has told Triple M he doesn’t think there is any younger players ready to take the Blues into a new era.
“Going forward they could probably look for a younger person but unfortunately I don’t think there is any young blokes jumping out of the box at the moment,” Gallen told The Grill Team.
“Certainly over the next couple of weeks you’d like to see a couple of the boys really jump out the box and really jump out of the box and stand up and say I want the spot.”
