Former Parramatta legend Jarryd Hayne has reported for his first day of spring training with NFL outfit San Francisco 49ers.

Hayne officially begins his new journey at the Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara which just hosted 75,000 screaming fans at the annual event known as WWE Wrestlemania. On that night, the likes of Brock Lesnar, The Rock, Ronda Rousey and Hulk Hogan shared the limelight.

It’s worlds apart from his days at Minto’s Townsend Oval in Sydney’s south west.

The new recruit is signed to a three-year rookie contract with the 49ers and has four months to make the final squad.
