There are shocking revelations coming out of Channel Nine’s News tonight with a report suggesting Daly Cherry-Evans is about to backflip on his multi-million deal with the Gold Coast Titans.

The report says Cherry-Evans has met with Manly CEO Joe Kelly.

It’s the next chapter in the farcical world of NRL contracts as DCE ha until round 13 to renig on his Gold Coast contract.

It’s a crippling blow to the Titans who let star five-eight Aidan Sezer sign with Canberra for 2016.

But The Australian and Triple M’s Brent Read and the Seven Network’s Josh Massoud have both reported that this is not the case and “it’s business as usual” from Cherry-Evans’ management.

Read, on Triple M, said there was “still a fair bit to play out”.
