Highlight: The return of speed machine James Tedesco. Hopefully the Menangle boy can stay fit and healthy.
Lowlight: A long season and a few losses could really leave young halfback Luke Brooks exposed. Wests need to keep their best 17 on the field each and every week. Easier said than done.
Robbie Farah and Aaron Woods are going to play State of Origin and the toil of a long NRL season is really going to test the ageing Farah and young prop Woods. The Tigers will be desperate to come out of the Origin period with at least a split record heading toward the playoffs and will be hoping Farah and Woods stay relatively fit. The other big problem will be if the Tigers are losing games and their forwards are getting dominated.
Rookie playmaker Luke Brooks needs all the help he can get but there will be nowhere to hide if Wests aren’t going forward.
