The81stMinute.Com can confirm News reports that the Penrith Panthers are favourites to lure Trent Merrin away from Wollongong in 2016 with whispers suggesting the St George Illawarra Dragons would accept Adam Docker and or Sika Manu in return.

Docker is the most likely with the Shellharbour junior currently living in Campbelltown, making it easier to commute between training in Penrith and his family on the south coast. Docker is eager to return to Wollongong while the Panthers and most notably GM Phil Gould, are desperate to bolster an already impressive pack.

Manu is believed to be on the hit list of the Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks.
