Bird Has Form:
2004: Suspended for 10 weeks after kneeing South Sydney’s Shane Marteene in the head in a match at the Sydney Football Stadium.
2006: Allegedly sends model Lara Bingle crude text messages.
2008: Arrested outside a Brisbane nightclub after a State of Origin clash.
2008: Arrested after incident with his girlfriend who was hit in the face with a glass bottle, fracturing her eye socket. Bird was granted bail. He was later found guilty of one count of recklessly wounding his girlfriend and one count of falsely accusing his flat mate. He was sentenced to sixteen months in jail but was later acquitted when his girlfriend gave evidence in his favour.
2008: Sacked by the Cronulla Sharks.
2009: Appears in Sutherland court on five charges of common assault against another woman for an incident in January 2008. He was cleared of all charges.
2014: Fined for urinating on a police car in Byron Bay. He is fined and sacked as captain of the Titans.
2015: Charged with two counts of supplying cocaine and is stood down by the Titans.
