Even the Gold Coast Titans showed up despite their on going dramas.

Cowboys’ representative prop Matt Scott was meant to be in Sydney on behalf of the club for photo opportunities and interviews.

Unfortunately for Scott, he picked up an injury at an earlier training session.

Why couldn’t the Cowboys send someone else?

Send James Tamou or Lachlan Coote.

Hell, you could have even sent one of your wingers.

But they didn’t and there were only fifteen teams at the season launch.

It’s not a huge story but one worth noting and only fuels the fire for conspiracy theorists.
