Rugby league legend Matthew Johns believes there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to Parramatta’s dire form that saw them slump to another huge loss on the weekend.
The Eels are on the slide yet again and Johns says it isn’t necessarily a ‘football problem’.
“Brad [Arthur] at the moment realises this is not a football problem,” Johns told SEN on Monday morning.
“This goes deeper than football. There’s something that’s got inside the squad that is affecting their performance. You’re not going to sit and look at the video tape and go, ‘That’s what the problem is’.
“He’s given them a day off.. I believe he’s going to give them two or three days off.”
The Eels were smashed by the Eagles 56-10 and haven’t won since round 18.
