Troubled flyer is reportedly embracing life as a leader at his new club Wests Tigers ahead of the 2021 season.

The 27-year-old is set to play for his fifth organisation this season but is expecting big things from Wests Tigers – who are desperate to make the finals.

“It feels good just to be back,” Roberts told The Sunday Telegraph.

“I think this is one of the most excited I’ve been about playing footy. I’m really looking forward to the season and really happy with where I’m at.”

Roberts will combine with fellow veteran centre Joey Leilua at Concord and believes the side can indeed make their first playoffs since 2011.

“There’s a really good group here and I think we’ll do something special.”

Wests Tigers kick off their 2021 campaign against the Raiders in Canberra.
