Wests Tigers are threatening sanctions against troublesome forward Josh Aloiai if he doesn’t show up for pre-season training next week at Concord.
Aloiai and his manager want him released from his contract to take up a richer deal at Manly but the Wests Tigers have refused to budge.
The Samoan forward has told Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe “he will never wear the jersey again”.
Fans of the club have been left bemused once again after an almost identical situation happened 12 months ago with Ryan Matterson.
Matterson eventually got his way and was released to Parramatta.
