Andrew Johns says ‘world class’ Justin Olam will terrorise Canberra’s Jordan Rapana tonight

Rugby league Immortal Andrew Johns has labeled unsung Melbourne hero Justin Olam as ‘one of the best strike centres in the world’ and he expects Melbourne to bombard Canberra’s Jordan Rapana in tonight’s preliminary final at Suncorp Stadium.

Johns said nobody had heard of Olam a few years ago but he would be used as a lethal weapon against the Raiders and singled-out Rapana as a weak link.

“I expect Olam to cause drama down the Raiders’ right side all night, pinching that gap between centre Jordan Rapana and halfback George Williams,” Johns wrote for The Sydney Morning Herald.

Cameron Smith’s opponent on Friday night was just four-years-old when the legendary hooker made his NRL debut

“I thought Rapana struggled defensively against the Roosters so I expect the Storm to blow up that side of the field at every opportunity.

“They will work to their right before coming back to the left, forcing Rapana into making decisions all night.”
