Immortal Andrew Johns supports Cronulla’s decision to knock back a reported release request from veteran centre Josh Morris.
Rumours circulated last week that Morris wanted out the Sharks to join brother Brett at the Roosters.
But Johns believes the Sharks are right to stand their ground.
“He should stay at the Sharks, I wouldn’t be letting him go,” Johns told the Wide World of Sports.
“I worry about the Sharks this year because there’s some dramas. Matt Moylan has been injured all off-season. He tore his calf early, then tore his hamstring pre-season.
“I understand Fifita hasn’t trained much, he’s got a bad knee. There’s dramas with Dugan and his knee. So they need as many players on deck as they can.”
