Melbourne Storm’s Australian representative winger Josh Addo-Carr is reportedly preparing to return to Sydney and continue his NRL career in the harbour city.

Channel Nine reported on Wednesday night that ‘The Fox’, who began his career at Wests Tigers, wants out of Melbourne.

Nine’s Danny Weidler says Addo-Carr will meet with Storm CEO Dave Donaghy today in Sydney.

Asked a few months ago about his situation, Addo-Carr made it clear what his preference was.

“Sydney is always home for me,” he said at the time.

“I’m grateful for what Melbourne have done for me. They’ve turned my career around. They’ve turned me into the player I’ve always dreamt to be. “Sydney is always going to be home. My whole family is there. If I want to start a little family, I want my kids to grow up with my family.”

So where does Addo-Carr land if he does come home to Sydney?

What we do know is there will be plenty of interest in one of the most exciting wingers in the world.

WESTS TIGERS

The Wests Tigers once boasted some of the best wingers in the game. Guys like Taniela Tuiaki, Lote Tuqiri, Marieka Koroibete and a young guy named Addo-Carr. Wests Tigers would be desperate to get JAC back to the club and would treat him better than they did last time round.

PANTHERS

Many Panthers fans are frustrated at the club’s recruitment for 2020 in recent times. They’ve loaded up on forwards but look a little thin in the outside backs. Addo-Carr could be the final piece of the puzzle for the mountain men. He’s also a Blacktown boy – just down the road from Panthers HQ.

RABBITOHS

Whether they get a medical retirement for Sam Burgess could make all the difference. They may miss out on Latrell Mitchell because of it and the same thing could happen with JAC. French rugby star and former Eel Semi Radradra was also recently linked to Redfern.

SEA EAGLES

Des Hasler has done a huge job turning guys like Brad Parker, Moses Suli and Brendan Elliot into quality first graders but imagine Daly Cherry-Evans or Tom Trbojevic linking on the outside with a flying Addo-Carr!?

BULLDOGS

The Bulldogs have really struggled in recent seasons with any kind of spark in attack. Josh Addo-Carr would be the adrenaline shot to the heart they need.

DRAGONS

Dragons fans are crying out for some more class out wide. How good would Addo-Carr look in the Big Red V? Would become an instant cult hero in Wollongong and Kogarah.
