Rising Canterbury forward Rhyse Martin has been dumped by coach Dean Pay for the second time in nine weeks according to foxsports.com.au with several players set to be axed for the club’s Magic Round match against Newcastle.

Martin didn’t make Pay’s round 1 side and began the season in reserve grade before being rushed back in round four where the Bulldogs caused an upset against Wests Tigers.

Kerrod Holland is set to also miss out while Pay confirmed Corey Harawira-Naera has not traveled to Brisbane with the team.

Interestingly, Martin will appear at a Kia car yard in Mount Gravatt at 4pm this afternoon to sign autographs.
