North Queensland Cowboys leader Matt Scott has refused to add to speculation over the futures of coach Paul Green and star half Michael Morgan who are both off-contract at season’s end.

“I am not going to say which one is more important to re-sign,” Scott told AAP.

“Both are important.

“But I am confident that the club can retain both of them.”

The club will be desperate to lock both men down as they prepare for life after Johnathan Thurston. The legendary playmaker will hang up the boots at the end of 2018.
