Returning Parramatta great Jarryd Hayne says he has never seen such a talented Eels as the enigmatic fullback went back to Parramatta training for the first time since exiting the Gold Coast.
“For me it’s about coming in and helping them go to that next level and that’s something I’m happy to be a part of and hoping to do,” Hayne said.
“You’ve got Normy (Corey Norman), Mose (Mitch Moses), Timmy (Mannah), Bev (Bevan French), (Clint) Gutherson as well who were absolutely killing it last year.
“It wasn’t just one or two guys really pulling the strings, it was everyone really working as a unit, working together.
“Talent-wise, I probably haven’t seen a Parra team with this much talent from 1-17.”
