Versatile Bronco Kodi Nikorima will replace skipper Darius Boyd in the fullback role for Brisbane’s huge Final against the Sydney Roosters after a minor hamstring tear forced Boyd from the field last weekend.

The Courier-Mail reports that Nikorima trained at the back on Sunday with veteran Benji Marshall to start at halfback.

Boyd suffered the injury on the stroke of Half-Time in Townsville.

The representative custodian is aiming for next week if the Broncos lose to the Roosters. If they win – he’ll have an additional week to prepare.
