The Sydney Roosters will start as hot favourites against the Melbourne Storm at the Adelaide Oval with the Storm to rest four of their State of Origin stars for the 1 vs 2 clash.

Tim Glasby will play for Melbourne after his Origin debut but Billy Slater, Cooper Cronk and Cameron Smith won’t play due to soreness. Centre Will Chambers will also sit out the game after being heavily concussed on Wednesday night.

New South Wales captain Boyd Cordner is also out of the Roosters team with a calf injury.

Roosters halfback Mitchell Pearce will be desperate to bounce back after a disappointing performance for the Blues in the Game II.
