EXCLUSIVE: NSW Blues set to star in new Hangover movie after Game II bender

The New South Wales Blues are set to star in the fourth instalment of The Hangover movie franchise after their unbelievable 18-16 loss in Game II of the State of Origin series at ANZ Stadium.

NSW took almost unstoppable momentum into the match following their demolition job of the Maroons in Game I and things looked even better for the Blues at half-time on Wednesday night when they took a 16-6 lead into the sheds.

Then the unthinkable happened.

And now Hollywood wants in on this hilarious story.

According to sources in Los Angeles, producers want to base The Hangover 4 on their escapades at Homebush with an early script idea to begin the movie just before half-time when NSW centre and former San Francisco 49er Jarryd Hayne tucks the ball under his arm instead of passing to his unmarked winger which would have given the Blues an almost unassailable three-try lead at oranges.

From there – things get a little hazy.

Documents have leaked online suggesting just who the Hollywood producers want in some of the starring roles:

Mitchell Pearce
“Doug”
The Blues wake up on Thursday morning at The Star Casino with major hangovers and disturbing black spots from the previous night. The Blues players slowly find their feet and realise that they were involved in some kind of party – the place is a mess. Halfback Mitchell Pearce is nowhere to be seen. They agree he went missing in the second half.

Matt Cecchin and Gerard Sutton
“Cops with the tasers”
NSW were absolutely piss poor in the second half but they weren’t helped by the referees who continually hit them with taser-to-the-face decisions that almost certainly gift wrapped the resurgent Queenslanders the match.

Jarryd Hayne
“Alan”
It’s eventually revealed later in the movie that Hayne spiked NSW’s drinks. Clearly Jarryd spiked his own a little earlier in the match when he refused to pass to Brett Morris with the tryline wide open. Later, he’d flick a ball behind his back over the sideline and then drop a catchable pass from Mitchell Pearce inside his own half.

Andrew Fifita
“The tiger”
Fifita was ferocious in Game I but just like the tiger in The Hangover, Fifita spent most of Game II asleep.

James Maloney
“Stu”
Might be missing a few teeth after a Billy Slater forearm.

  1. Yeah and the really funny part for the movie will be when the “refs” pull up Woods for stripping the ball 6 minutes into the first half, Duggans “coathanger” on Slater, Fajita’s “off the ball tackle” again on Slater that even the “Mouthpiece” Gould lambasted (who’s gonna play Gould and Johns?) and of course the ever reliable forward pass from “Stu” attacking the line but it’s OK, “JT” got him before he made the line.

Really, satire????? C’mon Kane. At least try and Suck it Biach. Only comment you got right was the *Story not factually correct (if you didn’t already realise)
