Former State of Origin player and boxing champion Anthony Mundine has taken a shot at Blues selectors after James Roberts was overlooked for makeshift Centre Jarryd Hayne.

“Why on earth wouldn’t NSW pick the most dynamic player in the game ?” Mundine wrote on Facebook.

“James Roberts ! They pick jarrod (sic) Hayne in centres ? I’m a fan of jarrods (sic) & he does perform in the big games but he ain’t no centre & he ain’t been playing like jimmy the jet …unbelievable! Fair dinkem (sic)”.
