Kiwis have nothing to prove: Bromwich

Kiwi forward Kenny Bromwich says New Zealand is wary of an Australian pack missing Aaron Woods, Shannon Boyd and Josh Papalii conceding the Kangaroos’ depth makes them a dangerous team.

“They have always got a big selection to choose from and some guys were probably a bit unlucky to miss out,” said Bromwich.

“But with the team they have they are looking very dangerous.”

Bromwich says the New Zealanders are putting pressure on themselves for the Friday night showdown.

“I’m not sure how much [we] have got to prove to others but [we] have got a bit to prove to [ourselves],” he added.

“Getting called into this game in a massive honour and [we] are looking to put in a massive performance.”

This is the last time Australia and New Zealand clash before the World Cup at season’s end.
