Kiwi legend Stacey Jones says New Zealand go into tonight’s Anzac Test against Australia with its greatest ever spine.
The all-Warriors quartet of Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, Kieran Foran, Shaun Johnson and Issac Luke will play together at Test level for only the second time but that hasn’t stopped Jones hailing them as the best ever.
“It’s got to be the best combination the Kiwis have ever had,” Jones said.
“I can’t think of another one that compares. We’ve had some good ones but the Kiwis have often been unsettled in those positions.
“These guys could be together for another three or four years.”
If they do indeed stay fit and healthy, the awesome foursome may well hand the Kiwis their second World Cup in ten years.
