Gold Coast Titans fullback Jarryd Hayne won’t need surgery after leaving the field during the team’s round two loss against Newcastle.

“Jarryd has significant ligament damage. It doesn’t require surgery. He’ll be out for at least a month it seems,” Titans coach Neil Henry said.

It will be interesting to see how the Titans do without the two time Dally M Medalist.
