ARTHUR SUMMONS

The81stMinute’s Twitter followers have voted Arthur Summons into our Hall of Fame ahead of Steve Rogers, Brad Fittler and Ken Kearney.

Summons finished on 33%, edging Rogers 31% and Fittler on 29% while Kearney received 7% of the votes.

An Australian rugby union representative, Summons jumped codes in 1960 appearing in three consecutive grand final losses for Western Suburbs and became a dual-international in the process.

The little halfback also makes up one half of the famous pose with St George rival Norm Provan that now sits atop the the NRL trophy.
