When you think NRL Finals, there’s nothing like footy in October, Arthur Summons and Norm Provan and Thurston’s field goal. Oh and Puff Daddy. Or is that Sean Combs? Or is it Diddy Daddy?

*We have the exclusive interview with the man himself.

81M: Mr. Puffy, thanks for sitting down with us today.

Puffy: Please, call me Sean.

81M: Can we call you Puffy?

Puffy: Um I guess.

81M: Puffy, why has the partnership between the NRL Finals and your song ‘Come With Me’ worked so well?

Puffy: I think it comes down to a mutual respect between me and Toddberg. He’s a great guy man.

81M: You mean Todd Greenberg?

Puffy: Nah man. We got slang names for each other. He’s Toddberg and he calls me Puffberg. Loves his rap.

81M: He enjoys rap?

Puffy: For sho. Biggie, DMX, J-Wess. Loves it. Shout to my boy Toddberg. Much love.

81M: We’ve heard your classic a lot before big matches, is it nice to hear it from a television somewhere in the USA whenever a Finals match is played?

Puffy: I’ll let you in on a little secret. I’ve been live for every one of those games. Been at the ground. Performed it live.

81M: Really?

Puffy: Yeah like, in the 2008 grand final? I was in the 2GB box spitting rhymes with Hadley and Blocker. In a semi in 2013 I actually stole Reggie Rabbit’s suit and did it on the field. No doubt.

81M: Will you be there this Sunday?

Puffy: Man I been practicing all week. Been stayin’ at Haynesy’s place on the Gold Coast. He loves his rap too.

*Not real Puffy
