Cronulla coach Shane Flanagan has played down rumours the high-flying Sharks may be interested in discarded Wests Tigers veteran Robbie Farah.

According to reports, Cronulla has already signed a Wests hooker in Manaia Cherrington.

“We’ve got Nu Brown who we always thought was going to be a hooker,” Flanagan said.

“We’ve got last year’s Australian Schoolboy Jayden Brailey, and we’ve got the current Australian Schoolboy in his brother Blayke Brailey coming through.

“Those two aren’t ready yet, and they’re not going to be ready next year. But we’ve got a plan in place. It might have to be moved 12 months forward, but we’ll move on.”
