Welcome to the first installment of NRL Trade Block where we’ll throw up three fantasy trades your club could do with right this minute!

They may not win you a premiership but they’ll sure as hell help your team out the mess they’re already in.

Trade 1: Lafai, McCrone, Faifai-Loa traded for G. Burgess

So this one may ruffle a few feathers with Souths fans but the Rabbitohs desperately need some spark or depth at the very least in their outside backs while the Dragons look thin in their engine room. A change of scenery for George may be just what he needs. And Souths score a classy centre and two rock solid utility backs. Plus it covers Souths for the next trade!

Trade 2: Gray traded for McLean

The Rabbitohs have traded out George Burgess to bring in young Storm firebrand Jordan McLean. They’ve lost Aaron Gray with Storm coach Craig Bellamy on the lookout for class backs.

Trade 3: Snowden, Ross traded for Ballin, Rankin

Slight catch 22 here both for franchises. Both Kade Snowden and Matt Ballin aren’t at full fitness but will prove handy to their new squads as the season goes on. Wests need more fire power through the middle while the Knights will be happy with the additions of the veteran Ballin and the utility value of Jordan Rankin.
