Weary Broncos paying full respect to little brother Titans ahead of Friday clash

Alex Glenn believes Brisbane’s derby clash with the Gold Coast Titans will be no walkover and has praised Gold Coast’s impressive start to the season.

The Broncos travel to CBus Super Stadium to face little brother on Friday night.

“It’s going to be a big match,” the Kiwi International said.

“The Titans have been playing well so far and everyone has been turning up for each other.

“I know it is going to be a strong game because they are going to want to play well in front of their home crowd.

“We are going to have to make sure we are preparing well and ticking off all the boxes before the game.”

The Broncos could struggle to go the eighty minutes after their epic grand final re-match against North Queensland last round.

“Obviously everyone was pumped to get the win but to be honest I was knackered,” Glenn said.

“We did the team song in the shed after the game but after that I was laying on the ground in the sheds for a good 10 or 15 minutes just trying to get my breath back and to soak it all in.”
