Robbie Farah running out of options as Roosters players shoot down move

According to reports from The Daily Telegraph, Robbie Farah’s manager Sam Ayoub met with St George Illawarra on Wednesday despite the Dragons restating that incumbent Mitch Rein is their top priority.

The rumoured Farah move to the Roosters was shot down immediately by Jake Friend and other senior players after coach Trent Robinson publicly stated that a decision on Farah would be left to the playing group.

Farah is fast running out of options and it seems clearer by the day that the troubled marriage between Farah and the Wests Tigers may continue in season 2016 if the club refuse to pay out his contract.

Legendary halfback Peter Sterling said Farah could be an asset for plenty of clubs around the competition if the price was right.

“What I do get is that Robbie Farah would be very attractive to any number of clubs if you can get him at a bargain based price but then it’s what you do with him,” Sterling said on Triple M.
