Carney wants three million bucks out of Cronulla for unfair dismissal

Catalans Dragons five-eight and former State of Origin five-eight Todd Carney is suing his former club Cronulla Sharks for unfair dismissal and it is being reported the one-time Dally M winner is gunning for close to $3million.

“I feel I was harshly done by, some people don’t,” Carney told Channel Nine.

“I want it to be cleaned up because one day, if it happens to a player again the club might think back to what’s happened to me.

“It might help another player.

“I’ve got pretty thick skin so it still probably haunts me today a little bit.

“I do get anxious and paranoid when I do go into public places.”

Carney says he found out about being axed through team-mate Wade Graham who had received a text message from the media manager of the club.

Just recently Carney signed a new three-year deal with the French Super League franchise.
