Cronulla Sharks rake Michael Ennis says enigmatic Ben Barba is returning to the form that saw the diminutive utility win the 2012 Dally M and The81stMinute Player of the Year award.

“The players talk about this, when it just clicks,” Ennis said on Fox Sports.

“I saw it in Townsville. The night we played the Cowboys, he came off the bench at a really crucial part of the game.

“He has three guys defending him and somehow he came out the other side and I saw it in his face.

“And from then on his confidence has just grown.”
