Brisbane legend Corey Parker believes that his Broncos have more of a test on Friday against the hapless Knights than any other recent match because they’re expected to win.

“The easy option is to go in there with an easy attitude and do half a job,’’ Parker said.

“If we are a team who prides ourselves on our performance, we need to turn in the same effort this time.

“Plenty of teams have done short turnaround and it’s a motivational that after this game there is a bye. If you want a rest, have one then.

“Sometimes in the past when fatigue (sets in during matches) we tend to go into our shells.

“That’s the coming of age of the younger group. They want to keep playing footy and it got us out of our own end.’’
