Tough Training Regime Gets Doggies Over the Line

Former Canterbury half Brett Kimmorley believes the Bulldogs’ tough training regime got them the two competition points in an amazing afternoon of footy against Canberra on Sunday.

The Dogs’ petrol tank was gone” Kimmorley wrote for Fox Sports.

“They’re the hardest training side in the competition and it’s probably good that they are with the way they were able to hang tough at the end there.

That’s a Des Hasler side doing what a Des Hasler side does and the toughness the coach expects from them got the victory.

Reynolds’ field-goal summed up the match. I don’t think he was expecting to take the kick but he took the opportunity when it arose and the ball went over by about a centimetre.”

Josh Reynolds was brilliant for the visitors after being dumped from the New South Wales Origin team.
